About Wheelhouse Options

Who built this, why it exists, and what it is and is not.

    The Team

    Michael, founder of Wheelhouse Options

    Michael

    Founder

Michael spent nearly a decade at Charles Schwab working across trading, client advisory, and product management before moving into wealthtech. He has worked with high net worth clients on portfolio positioning and risk management, held multiple FINRA licenses, and built tools used by thousands of financial advisors.

Wheelhouse Options came from a simple frustration with how options education is usually taught online. Too basic, too hyped, or both. The Wheel strategy changed how Michael approaches income investing and this site is his attempt to share that clearly, without the noise. The screening tools were built with help from a collaborator with a quantitative finance background.

Kevin Hyatt, advisor to Wheelhouse Options

    Kevin Hyatt

    Advisor, Commercial Strategy

Kevin spent 12+ years in enterprise sales and financial services, including six years at Charles Schwab, where he worked through the TD Ameritrade acquisition and later advised Fortune 100 companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Citibank on strategy and growth. He holds a Cornell MBA and has built sales operations from the ground up, most recently helping companies figure out what needs to be true before they are ready to sell.

Kevin and Michael worked together on the trading floor at Schwab, back when the idea for something like Wheelhouse Options was just a conversation about the tools they wished existed. Kevin joined as an advisor to help get the platform ready for real users and real revenue, focused on the product, the pricing, and the go to market plan. When he is not working on that, he is usually outside, on a ski slope in the winter or chasing a good round of golf the rest of the year.
